Amel Khalil
As a Palestinian American Actress, Writer, Comedian, and Content Creator, I see storytelling not just as artistic expression, but as a tool for empowerment, empathy, and collective action. When I struggled with the heartbreaking content in the films and documentaries about Palestine, I reached out to my community for help. That's when I discovered that many others shared my feelings of isolation, sadness, grief, and anger. They also desired to learn more. Now, we gather weekly to watch these films together, holding space for each other, and honoring the storytellers of Palestinian history, culture, and resistance.

Sami Kay
I grew up in a heavily zionist area and started my anti-zionist journey early and alone; I remember how frustrating it was to find real information. When Amel proposed starting a movie night to watch Palestinian media and discuss related events, I wanted to be a part of that community to help others not feel alone. It's been wonderful to watch the community grow with each film to have a deeper understanding of our interconnected struggles.

Rabia Basher
As a passionate student of life, I delve deeply into the heart of every matter. My dedication to social change was inspired by my desire to live in a world with socioeconomic justice and equity. Being part of the Pal Perspective com unity, I feel honored to walk in integrity alongside my incredibly talented creatives, artists, and edu actors. My love for kind, soulful people, especially the Palestinian people brought me to this group of individuals almost like it was ‘kismet’. Being in the presence of a supportive group where we uplift one another keeps my hope for a free Palestine and a better world alive. To echo the words of my favorite author, Arundhati Roy, “Another world is not only possible, she is on her way. On a quiet day, I can hear her breathing.”
